The opening movement of Vivaldi's Beatus Vir recorded at the Church of the Pietà in Venice. The orchestra of the OAE/Jerwood Experience, led by Nadja Zwiener, with the women basses, tenors, contraltos and sopranos of Schola Pietatis Antonio Vivaldi (Vivaldi's Women) directed by Richard Vendome.
It's good but it misses good contraltos.

RV 795 is the "Pietà" version - the solos are all soprano/contralto.

Thanks a lot!
This is awesome, as usual !
And discovering a "new" Vivaldi is always a pleasure!
At first I even thought you had reversed the numbers of RV 597...
Besides, is it a coincidence? Has Peter Ryom done this voluntarily?
