Part 2 of a film from the Environment Agency, SEPA and the Institution of Civil Engineers on on the need for, practice and outcomes of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS).

This video has been produced to explain how SUDS, Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems, work. By looking at the water in the urban environment we can bring it back into the community and consider all aspects of amenity, flooding, pollution, wildlife habitats, landscape design, safety and water resources in a single integrated perspective. This means not having to hide water underground or behind concrete walls and channels.

More info is available from the Environment Agency at http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk/business/sectors/36998.aspx
