Why Study History?

Have you ever had your students (or parents, or administrators) wonder why History is being taught in schools?

I made this video to address that very question on the first day of my Social Studies class.

This video is fabulous! I'd love to show it on the first day of school but I can't embed it into a powerpoint because it "contains content from EMI." Is there a way to change this so I can embed it?

@sarahsiesto Glad you liked it! My kids loved it last year. It really started off the year on a good note. Unfortunately, because I used the Coldplay song it won't automatically play in PowerPoint, it seems, and I'm not sure of a work-around for this. Can you set up a link in PowerPoint so that it opens the video in the browser?
