  • How many weeds can grow on mainline? We don't have a single blade of grass growing on the tracks here on the surfline, LOL!!!! Nice one.

  • CN had really let the old Algoma Central go downhill in terms of track maintenance.

    In the 1970s there was 5 trains a day, each direction on the Algoma Central. The tour train, the regular passenger train and at least 3 freights. Today there is the tour train, the regular passenger train is only 2 or 3 times a week, and freight service is almost down to that level as well.
