Saturday night on Pay-Per-View a fight in the Light Heavyweight Division as Joe Calzaghe defends his perfect 45-0 record against Roy Jones Jr. Joe Calzaghe is a 280 favorite with the underdog Roy Jones bringing back +240. Calzaghe is coming off a split decision victory over Bernard Hopkins. Jones Jr has lost 3 of his past 6 fights with his last lost coming in the third Tarver fight where he lost a unanimous decision. In that loss Jones Jr threw nearly half as many punches as Tarver and the loss was by wide margin on the scorecards. Since that defeat Jones Jr fought lesser fighters and now steps in the ring against the undefeated Calzaghe. Tarver couldnt finish Jones Jr because he tired late in the fight. Tarver was never hurt in the fight. Joe Calzaghe is in tremendous condition and is a very busy fighter who can throw punches from start to finish. Calzaghe gets his hand raised here.
