T-80U MAIN BATTLE TANK

The T-80 main battle tank has been in production since the late 1970's. KBTM of Omsk, Russian Federation, manufactures the T-80U for general use in infantry and tank units and the T-80UK command tank and XKBM, Kharkov, Ukraine, manufactures the T-80UD and the T-84. 320 T-80UD tanks have been ordered from Ukraine by Pakistan, and are fully delivered. In August 2002, it was announced that South Korea is to purchase from Russia a number of T-80 tanks.

According to some experts russian miliraty budget is around 60-65 bln $. Spending isn't like an video game and I'm very familiar with that.

Around 20% of overall Russian military budget is lost due to corruption. That's around 12 bln $ EVERY YEAR !! So, basically that's 5000 T-80UM2, latest modern equipment for all infantry and 100 Ka-52 attack helicopters (and that's just for one year loss due to corruption - not to mention for 5 or more years)

@brox114 Adding to that, France and Britain(which have higher military budgets) spends money less than 3% of their GDP and already sufficient to support their whole force. Not to mention,a high military budget is not necessary for a country which is not in a major war. Repairing is not a strategy O.o basically, I was saying that the Rus military was underestimating the enemy to send such a crappy force that would just scratch their tanks for people to wash them off later.
