For the skaters - My attempt at vert

Since many people have been wondering if I still skate, I'm answering them with this video. I don't skate nearly as much as I used to when I was in high-school, but I still love the sport.

I've also started wearing pads because I broke my arm last summer and couldn't play guitar for a few weeks (*gasp*)! I figure, since I'm going to wear pads, I might as well go all-out and try vert skating.

@oooapath2 Yes, I do mainly street. I normally do stairs/ledges/gaps, so trying vert is a new experience for me

@fhatsk8er Personally I would call it an outdoor activity. Why? Because with the sports that I believe are real sports it's all about being the strongest, fastest or most accurate. Things that can be clearly rated where as sports such as skateboarding are all about style where different people can have different opinions. This is why I don't consider skateboarding a real sport.

@fhatsk8er I see. Yea vert looks like it can be really complicated but it seems like you were getting the hang of it really quickly.

@NizzeNys It seems subjective. I personally side on it being an "extreme sport" like biking, snowboarding, skiing, etc. but that's because I use the term "sport" to generally encompass a competition requiring physical exertion of some sort. If skateboarding wasn't a sport, though, what would you call it?
