AquaticLife Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpQ58M3mF-0

This is my product review of the AquaEuro Nano Protein Skimmer 2. My pro's and cons on the skimmer as well as how to install and reassemble the skimmer. You can see that I have installed it in the first chamber of the biocube 29 and that it has plenty of room to fit.

  • Should I get this skimmer or the biocube stock one?

  • @RichardV2012 No, dont get this skimmer. If you are going to spend the money on a skimmer buy the AquaticLife Mini Internal Protein Skimmer 115. If you go threw my videos, you'll see how I installed it on my cube.

  • Did you ever get this skimmer to work?

  • @nwing84 nope. I just threw it out.

  • @ ArcAngel >>> I have the same skimmer and I have ran into the same problems as you, I found that if i used both extensions on the outflow pipe and left valve wide open, then adjusted the air valve so that as soon as it got tight while turning it in, I stopped then took it a quarter turn further. I have my water level about 3/8" below the grey ring that the clip fits into. Ill post a video in response as well

  • @RedlineHybrid and the skimmer works for you? If you wouldnt mind, could you post pics to my website?

  • Great review man. And tank is looking great. Keep up the good work...

  • @sjj710 Hahaaa. I wish I could. but a new metal halide bulb is much cheaper than a new fixture.

  • @ArcAngel9008 This is it. You have to bite the bullet. It's a sign from above. No more halides. LED's are calling your name, like an angelic song from the heavens!

  • @sjj710 That is true. I usually replace my bulbs every 6-8 months so it looks like im due for a change now
