most birds i saw having this behaviour fell down 3 minutes later and never got up, i burried 4 of these little dudes in my backyard, they were all stiff and cold when i picked them up.

You would be surprised how many animals like the drunken state. Birds, mammals ect.. So this is actually pretty normal when there is something about like fruit to get drunk on..
