  • @artfuentes32 She said they weren't snake-handlers. The rejection of the Enlightenment is very much a part of Christian Dominion. When we talk about "The Enlightenment" we're talking about a very specific period in the development of Western Thought. She was presenting that thinking in the Christian right saw great conflict between the Enlightenment and the Reformation, and that this conflict defines our Modern era. It seems to me that that would be at least one assessment of Modern thinking.

  • @thegreatestbak He researched the subject in Conservapedia. The trustworthy encyclopedia for those who are actually stupid enough to believe it.

  • @artfuentes32 I know that repeating a lie over and over and over will cause people as stupid as you are to actually believe it. That doesn't work on me -- I just get sick of hearing that stupid fucking lie over and over again. Go jack off to your aborted fetus pictures and shut up.

  • This was great. I also think Republican Gomorrah by Max Blumenthal has an enlightening perspective on this topic and on the rise and fall of the republican party in general.

  • @artfuentes32

You, Art Fuentes, haven't bothered to read anything written by the founding fathers or even done a simple wikipedia search to back up any of your brash claims. You let preachers do yout thinking for you. I find that laughable.

  • @artfuentes32

All our founding fathers were deists and atheists..not theists. I suggest reading Thomas Jefferson's Proclamation On Religious Freedom and learning to think for yourself before you spew. IDIOT.

  • Rejection of Enlightenment? Plurality? Revisionist History? Snake-Handlers? You, Michelle Goldberg are totally ignorant towards the Founding of America.

  • America is a Christian Nation. She is attempting to conduct a Revisionist History Forum in her Anti-Christian agenda that she is conducting.

  • BAYUM! C-Republicans out- 1 month later

  • This is like front row seats man- what will the great America do?

will America become a Nation of Nations or another Nation of Faith.
