Society (cover)

Audio and video recorded and engineered in a small dark room, in the corner of a basement. (Between the hours of 2-10am, Jan 3/4 2010.) I was originally inspired by Eddie Vedder's version of the song, featured on the 'Into The Wild' soundtrack, which led me to seek out the original author of the song, "Society," which is of course Jerry Hannan. My version is a bit slower than both the original and Vedder's version. I wrote it as not only a tribute to the song's original writer, but also as a means to express this message in a more relevant setting to a larger audience. Enjoy!
