  • very nice!! but only one thing: it would sound better if you play the fist part faster, and also the second part of the fugue, but it's very good!! congratulations!

  • thanks. i took that tempo upon my organ teacher's request. i agree that it should probably go faster. thanks for the constructive criticism!

  • After one semester?... You must really be an accomplished clarinetist! Bravo to you, Good Sir... Bravo. I think your teacher's request was very smart. It is best to play it safe. So well done.

  • @derexnh Who cares if YOU played that in school! Would YOU have sounded this good at ANYTHING after only one semester of organ lessons?! Let's hear YOU play the clarinet after one semester..... you D-bag!

  • i played that in school - very weak,, need practice

  • I agree!

  • Great job. This is a perfect piece for you. I'd love to hear your clarinet playing as well.

  • haha cool! i play the clarinet too!!

  • You could also try playing it less legato, that will definately freshen it up!

  • This is quite good for only a semester of lessons. Have you considered taping some less complex pieces that you can handle without "adjusting" the tempi? This, in its time, was a virtuoso work, after all. It requires mastery of the so-called "stylus fantasticus." But this is not to discourage you. Keep practicing!
