Produced by Yongnuo in China, this 160 LED video light is an affordable on camera light for serious video producers.

  • Hello, good video by the way. I have two questions. Can this fit on a 550D? Also would this be suitable for people who conduct product reviews. (see my channel too see what my video style.) Thanks.

  • @TechBoomTV Hello - thanks for the comment - this should fit your camera as I see it has a "hot shoe" fitting on top and is a standard mount

As this light can be varied in brightness I think you would find it very useful as a main "key" light for your product reviews.

  • I have some questions about this product

    1) Does it include barn doors?

    2) Can barn doors be removed?

    3) can you stack, connect horizontally, verticaly 2 or more YN-160 ?

    4) The light has 16 levels of power. What is the smallest level in percentage?

    5) Is both the panasonic and the sony battery adaptor included?

    6) Can you suggest a good battery for YN-160 ?

    7) Can you provide me with the lux at 0.5 m?

  • @akaloith hello = thanks for the comments.

I only own one of these lights, not work for the company that makes them so I am unable to answer your more specific questions. However:

The barn doors you see on the light are included and are not removable.

I can not really see how you might stack.

I do not know percentage wise what the lowest level of power is.

There is just the adaptor for the Sony batteries.

  • @akaloith I currently use AA batteries but have some custom 12 volt packs from when I had a DVCAM camera and will add a regulator to drop that to 9 volts for use with it.

I do not have the information for lux output at 0.5M but why would you want to be so close to it?
