This is a seconds sweep comparison between the Omega Seamaster Professional 2254.50 and the Breitling Superocean Professional A173435.

Please excuse the misnomer in the video about the Omega.

The Omega is powered by Omega cal. 1120, a COSC version of the ETA 2892-A2 movement. The Breitling is powered by Breitling cal. 17, a COSC version of the ETA 2824-2 movement.

The Eterna-derived movements are very comparable and have the same BPH of 28,800.

FWIW, I prefer the Breitling as a watch.

Thanks for watching!

  • are there any cheap watches that have a second hand like those?

  • @Woupy111 Sure, Seiko and Swatch have automatic watches which are inexpensive. Or if you want something really cheap you can find it on ebay.

  • Right, the BPH is the same. But the subjective things like hand length and design sure make them look different!

  • This is one "succinct" video. =p

  • This video is a favorite on Thailand

  • I think you're mixing your watches. You called it the "Omega Superocean Professional" :-)

  • @cornerstone228 That's quite an epiphany you had there =)

  • they look different because they are different watches.

  • They should be the same, and I believe they are. 28,800 bph.
