@markjhicks yea i checked fuel pressure suppose to be between 60-70 psi was at 65 and at 3000 rpm only dropped a pound or two then stabilized i got a crank sensor was only $25 figured not to expensive to throw at it, since i have to get the a/c compressor out of the way itll be a job to tackle next weekend so we'll know then

i swapped coils erased codes took for a quick spin came back checked for stored codes this time i got po300 random/mutltiple cylinder misfire which threw a variety 301 302 304 307 changes when i delete and recheck and last was po316 misfire detected in 1st 1000 revs, i sat in drive for a while and kept pulling the same thing and service eng light would startto flash again, so it seems to be all cylinders are missin at a time like a restriction, any ideas or you come across this before

k got 2, po304 and po1336 misfire on cyl 4 and manufacturer control ignition system or misfire.... coil over plug??

@svt0304cobra If the service light flashed or came "on". you should have a stored or a pending code. Let me know what you find.

ok, took it to my shop got no misfires, ive noticed i get a second long beep and battery light flashed real quick, on my way back home of course after i left the the shop the service engine light flashed oh maybe 30 sec or so then now off, ive had a couple times it was like washboards again then bucked kinda rough till i let off, twice when ive turned and on the gas felt kinda rough like its in 4 wheel drive when you turn all the way one way, ran test on the scanner everything passed

@markjhicks wouldnt it sence a misfire i know they do misfire checks soon as you turn the key, and wierd far as mainly doing it when its warmed up, i looked at the mass air didnt seem grimed up or anything i can try cleanin it just to see, anything around the house can use to clean ive heard of using rummbing alchohol and a Q-tip, if that dont work cleaning it i can see bout swingin by the shop i worked at check for misfires, id just think it throw a code though, ill try it
crank sensor?

@svt0304cobra If it is effecting all cylinders, it is very possible to be a crank sensor or a fuel delivery problem.

i have an 03 eddie bauer 4.6 notice has a rough idle when op temp, driving cruising speeds once in a while will shutter llike driving over washboards on a dirt road, let off gas goes away usually comes back, also has issues shifting accelerating from stop wants to hold the gear, lack of power, but then goes away drives fine powers uphill no problem does it everytime i drive, its stalled twice at a stop, i though dpfe test fine on voltmeter, a couple times smelled sulfur from pipe but not always

@svt0304cobra You have to get enough misfires in a certian time period to set a code. It might be right on the edge. When you say you smell rotten eggs, it means either it is running rich or you have a misfire or both. Please clean the MAF. Please do as I am telling you, it will give a good starting point if not the answer.
