Awesome Matt! Been there but have never seen the snag lake section. Bet the flyfishing is killer back there! Too bad ya didnt have a little kit w/ a barbless fly or 2 and yer license. Best not to bug the fish anyway I guess huh? Anyway, its cool to see you evolving in a sense to ULTRALIGHT hiking. Look forward to seeing you enjoy more and more hikes. Great place we live here!!!

You ever done the Brokeoff Mountain hike? It's a good little 4 to 6 hour hike, and a great view of Mt. Lassen at the top. Starts out in the forest, crossing some streams if I remember right, then exposed switchbacks through manzanita bushes. Really pretty hike. Really enjoy the footage of your Cinder Cone loop, that's a hike I've never done and is a must-do next! Anyway, great video and NorCal fucking ROCKS.
