  • you always need something heavy behind you like a bush hog or a disc to weigh the back end down

  • @fireballfury1 I now have a scraper box or a grass cutting unit behind it..Thanks.

  • we use to have a mahindra tractor about 2 sizes bigger than that one with a backhoe attachment(bought it after we sold the old ford 555). but it didnt have the shuddle shift like the ol' ford. it was a good tractor, but the clutch was way too stiff, the hand break was too stiff, and the back end was to light. i almost fliped it forward a few times moving huge wooded fence posts with the fork attachment for the front end(3 at a time)

i liked the 1975 ford better, but it was just too big and old

  • I don't do anything heavy with this tractor. I mow a couple a acres and pick up big stuff that my back can't handle anymore. I rototil and just move dirt around for fun,

    Thanks for the comment

  • Does your 3510 have an accelerator? Thought it might be hydrostatic until I saw you shift on the collum. I looked at the Mahindra very close last year but it came down to Kubota or Mahindra, couldn't have both so I got orange.

  • Yes it has an accelerator on the right side (foot pedal) Reverse and forward handle on the left side of steering column. The speed or accelerator is a handle also on the right side off steering wheel.

So far Im very happy with it. I have 2 acres and it serves me well. No breakdowns and glad I got the 3510. Price was right. The other tractors are great but a little pricey for me..
