Yeah I was there and I was incredibly excited when I realized he was doing the original Guthrie version, even if it confused most of the people there haha

Join us those that are reading this in making good things happen throughout your own community. That is one of the most important messages I'm receiving from this Administration. More power to us in making this happen--Think big, but start small and continue to grow your efforts steadily. "Be the change you wish to see in the World." It all starts with you.

Bravo to Pete Seeger. Soon to be celebrating his 90th birthday on May 3rd, 2009. You are inspirational and WE BELIEVE IN YOUR MESSAGE. God willing you will be a Nobel Peace Prize Winner SOON!

89 actually. I can't believe he included woody's original words! Somewhere woody is smiling and I'm actually, for the first time hopeful this politician might actually work with his people!

Several flew over during the concert. DCA (Reagan National) is right outside of DC.

Congratulations!
I can't imagine what it must have felt like to be there.
Thank you for this "taste" of it.
Very thoughtful.

It was one of the most amazing (yet physically difficult) experiences of my life! I'm glad I could share it in some small way with those that could not be there.
