Hi Bill and Pittsburgh and the Pirates,

I was there, in Pittsburgh, in 1960 when the last game of the Pirates was playing.

I could not make it to Forbes Field, pay what was typically a 25 cent fee to get in and watch the game as a young kid, (I did this many times in the late 50's).

 I was up in the attic of my family's old home on the South Side, looking out to the river and listening to my radio when the 9th inning came up.

Will never forget that Home Run.
