Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow in under 5 mins

A New Game+ speedrun of Dawn of Sorrow utilizing glitched souls and zipping. By zipping after Dmitrii, I get Black Panther, Hippogryph, activate the "skip menace" glitch, and activate the Abyss Warp.

The first segment is 2:28, the second (before suspending) is 54 seconds (excluding menu time), and the final part is 1:07, for a total of 4 minutes, 29 seconds.

First segment is really uneventful, Valkyrie to the cutscene, then Alucard Bat over of the bridge, then Werewolf + Ukoback to get to the Dark Chapel save point.

Second segment needs a bit of explanation. I Succubus Glitch through the boss door, and after killing him, the cutscene that plays has the same effect as the SG, so I use that to go through the ceiling and start falling through the map. I wasn't able to find a way to record both screens clearly, so I'll just describe what was happening. By sliding certain places during the fall, it changes memory values in the game, in this case, the ones dealing with having souls, activating the Abyss Warp, and having killed Menace.

So, once I suspend and reload (I wasn't expecting to be on that wall, normally you start in the middle of the room), I quickly run to the warp room, go to the Abyss, watch the Menace cutscene, and game complete.

@Yoshisuperstar123 Heh, yeah, that's a soul from Julius Mode (using the Succubus Glitch can get you it). It doesn't have a name or description since there'd be no way to view it in Julius Mode.

@weaponsmaster34 There's nothing on youtube, since there's not really a succubus glitch in Julius Mode. There are a couple of spots you can zip to get out of bounds, one of which lets you beat the game similarly in ~10 minutes. There's only an emulator replay file, it's in the dawn of sorrow topic on tasvideos' forums. It's on page 6.

@zoanful Because I glitched out of the map in a particular way, it makes the game think I've already beaten him, so Menace is skipped entirely.

@magnetwardrobe if your talking about the green bar(which is magic, by the way) he used the chaos ring, which can be found in the abyss after getting 100% souls.
