  • Sanchez never played against a good defense? The Pac-10 has the best defenses in college football. He also went up against that USC D in practice everday.

  • No, Bradford has pretty good arm strength, decent mobility (who said great), a very accurate arm, but I don't think he could play against an NFL defense. For QB's most of the time, scouts get everything wrong about them.

  • Not true. For every 10 qb's they get maybe 1 or 2 wrong. The others they get right..... Manning brothers, John Elway, etc.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens with Bradford but I do think he will be a great NFL QB. He has all the tools esspecially the great work ethic.

  • Then you are seeing incorrectly. Scouts, coaches, gm's are all people who know much more about this kind of stuff than us.

Bradford has to make reads most of the time, he has great mobility, a good arm, great accuracy and great mechanics and all the tools you want in an NFL QB.

  • When did I start "this whole USC is great, everyone else sucks BS"? I never said that. If nobody can predict these things then why did you bring scouts into this? I don't see Bradford making reads, I see him throwing the ball wherever he pleases due to the AWFUL BIG 12 defenses.

  • NOBODY can predict how a guy will be in the NFL, what the scouts do is determine if the players have the tools to perhaps be good.

Please stop this whole USC is great, everyone else sucks BS. You are making a fool of yourself.

All QB"s get a one read play once in a while... the point is Bradford usually makes great reads and smart accurate throws.

  • Thank you for bringing me to my next point, go watch a highlight video of him against Oklahoma State this year. There is a play where he watches the receiver the ENTIRE TIME! He watches him before the snap, during the play, as he throws, after he throws, and he is still WIDE OPEN WITH NOBODY AROUND HIM! I hardly call that making a read. Draft Experts are no "experts" especially on QB's, 90% of the time they fail miserably on predicting whether or not a QB will be good or bad.

  • ROFL you think running an up tempo line call offense means you can't read a defense ??? Reading a defense and making your progressions has to do with stuff that happens after the snap. All the coaches do for Bradford is give him the play call.

Let it go, NFL scouts who are experts on these matters have already said he has all the tools to be a fantastic QB. ... he has a better chance of being a great QB than anyone to come out in the last 5 years. Let's see what happens.

  • Bradford cant read a defense either, OU goes to the line and sets, then gets the play call from a coach on the sidelines, so the coach is doing his work. USC is one of few schools that actually makes their QB make reads.
