This Tooll-less stuff is for nooby like mac fanboys - HP dumbs people down.
Also the guys clamped the WIRES that were hangin when he put the PSU back in ... they got all squished ... just probably bent or damaged a capacitor on there ... what a fail.

@crazyskiier0023 Why so much RAM? Here's two of many reasons:
1) Media (Audio Video) production with effects rendering with multiple virtual instruments.
2) Various electrinic design engineering requirements.

I browsed to my cheapest store in ireland elara.ie - HP z600 a dual core intel Xeon E5620 2.4 GHz - 8GB of ram - ( NO graphics card) yes no graphics card cost 2822,93 including vat. LOL and this video was made 18 mths ago - I've stick with my new i7-950-12gigs of ram(24 gig max) - gigabyte udr3 ( 4x PCI-x16 slots), antec 193 case, Ati 5770, 650 WATT for, 2 X 500GB HDS for 900 quid. -

@wwwgeekdotcom I want to upgrade. I am currently using a custom case with an old Tyan K8WE using two amd opteron 275 cpus- I want to switch to Xeon 5500/5600. Instead of purchase a whole system. What i really need is a new case, 2xcpus and at least 12gb of ram+ power supply. I was thinking of getting the HP Z800 BUT I i need as much 2 pci-express slots for two QUADRO 4000 CARDS. The pc will used for CAD and 3d animation.

@crazyskiier0023 depends on the application. High end financial work needs a lot, as does geographic imaging. Seismic datasets, etc. People do some crazy stuff with these workstation, not just run photoshop like me!
