@xstetsonx Who cares if not a lot of people know him? I've been way into Tim's playing since I Luther College exposed me to his music back in '97. If Tim's solo and TR3 shows are small, intimate affairs so much the better (for me). I'd hate to go see this guy live and have it always be like Dave and Tim in Vegas with a bunch of rowdy shouting drunk fans talking during his set.

tim reynolds is an alien. thats why he's so short and kinda weird looking. he beams that awesomeness from deep space, man.

after reading all yall comments, i just have to say something. Does it matter whether a lot people know him or not? as long as the people who know him loves and respects his talent and works. i think that is all it matters and i hope tim would agree with me too

@Romans10Verse9 I totally agree with you on that one. But the funny thing is, I actually heard one of Tim's songs long before I started listening to DMB in '92, but I have no idea it was Tim Reynolds. I just remembered that it sounded so much like Pat Metheny that I went on a wild goose chase trying to fing this Metheny song. I still don't know the name of the actual song though!

Tim played a song a long time ago that sounded a lot like a Pat Metheny tune but I have no idea what it was called. He played it at a show in Denver in 2005 at the Blue Bird and never said the name of it so I have no idea what album it's from or how old or anything. Maybe he would have spoken more if the fuckin' drunk people there would have shown some interest in his music and not alcohol. Does anyone have any idea what song I am thinking of and how to find it?

Both sides are true. We're very lucky that TIm inspired Dave in the ways that he did or we wouldn't have a lot of the great music DMB has given us. On the other side, I admit that if it wasn't for Dave Matthews I wouldn't know who Tim Reynolds was. And Tim probably wouldn't be too famous because a lot of people couldn't dig his amazing style. So I thank both Tim and Dave, for introducing me to eachother, directly or indirectly.
