Seeking Talented USA Athletes for a Professional Career in Australia

Are you a college athlete searching for a new challenge and an opportunity to play professional sport?

From 27th-29th of August 2012, the Australian Football League (AFL) will conduct a Combine in Los Angeles as part of a process to recruit talented USA athletes to the professional league in Australia. Athletic ability will be tested to determine which athletes are invited to travel to Australia to test in the Australian Combine in October 2012. Successful athletes will potentially being given an opportunity to be recruited to professional clubs in Australia.

Professional AFL is the number one sport in Australia. No previous experience is required.

The guys that this combine is targeting are not those that are being offered millions of dollars to play in the US. They are mostly basketball players that completed college and are looking for an opportunity to make a good living in professional sports. There are 350 division one basketball teams in the NCAA. Each of them has 10-12 players on their roster. There are only around 45 NBA spots each year that go to college players. What should the rest do? Maybe come play AFL...

yes talking to people that have visited Australia .they say the cost of living is very high ,so a million would probably not get you as far as it would in america

This is a brilliant advertisement for the game. It would be really nice to see other countries get involved in the game. It's all true though, the crowds are always big and the following is insane!
