He was my favorite character.When he died Diane just got so much more annoying and made the show all about her which pissed me off.
But Coach just somehow made all fall into place

My memory of watching this scene for the first time was just staring at the screen in utter amazement and then just breaking down in laughter after it had ended.

@Katmaynor There was a sports caster in Canada that made reference to this moment by saying "gr-gr-groin injury" I kid you not.

@rem2267 I was young when Cheers was on but left a lasting impression on me as well. I live on the west coast of Canada in Vancouver and I swear that I will one day go see the Sox play at Fenway and then go for beers at the real Cheers. One other classic Cheers moment, when the bar bursts into "We will rock you".

The face on Norm just about says it all. I remember seeing this when it first aired, and I just about fell off my chair laughing so much, I cried.. I have never forgotten this (I mean, really, how can you?). An ultra-classic Cheers moment.
