Getting a standing ovation in an opponents building is rare. This was amazing to see. Very classy of the Minnesota fans

@halodystroyer44 no. they wouldn't have booed him. mike modano stayed with the "north stars" when the moved south and became "the stars". its a completely different situation. we love him in dallas, and minny fans were just showing the guy love for having a great career.
-
if this franchise was in cleveland he would have been booed
We need more hockey cities like minnesota in the NHL!

As a native of his hometown of Livonia, Michigan I can say that I have always placed Modano among the classiest of players of all time! He will be missed! It was so great of Minnesota to honor him like that!
