many of Thai actors are dark/tan skin but when they'r on screen they look white because of the light up!!
anyway, even they'r white, dark, half-chinese or something else it's none of ur business

where do you come from? if the actor/actress in ur country are all dark or poor skin ...................it's not Thai's false,is it??

I think they look just as good with their tan skins if not better actually but sadly thats not how the Thai media works :P

i thought that having fair skin as an asian means that you're rich or royal enough not to work on the farm in the sun (?)

Do you really think Thais look like these people? These singers, actors and performers you are watching have very fair skin. That is why they are selected to perform. Thais admire the yellow/white complexion of Koreans and Japanese. However, only about 25 percent of Thais have this fair complexion.
The other 75 percent vary from tan to brown. Thais do not like dark skin. Don't take My word for it, just ask them. All their movies stars, singers and performers have to have fair skin.

they have fair skin on TV because they use a lot of lighting but in reality their skin is a little bit tan. if they are tan not many people will be interested in them.
