I don't know what OBama said verbally...But his voting record is the most anti-gun Ever...and he appointed this Eric Holder guy who is extremely anti-gun also....remember the gov. isn't just about the President...Nanci Pelosi said quote: " If we can't get their guns, we'll get their ammo"..and she proposed a 500% percent tax on it so people can't afford to buy it...Thats the most insane tax spike ever for anything.

What saddens me is that so many of you have placed words in Obama's mouth that he has NEVER said nor indicated. He never once said he was going after anyone's guns to take them away. My response still stands. Very rarely are guns used for "lawful" purposes or means ... "murder "is virtually always the ultimate outcome and family members or known friends, and innocent victims are generally at the receiving end. There is no tyranny within the U.S. Government, and if you think there is then you need "professional" and your need is serious and immediate, because your comment reminds me of the man who murdered the security officer at the Holocaust Museum in Wash. DC last week.

Uh, protect yourselves from what? The only thing I see is young kids getting hold of these weapons and taking them to school to shoot teachers & classmates, shooting their Dad's 8 months pregnant girlfriend because they're jealous, assassinating their entire families out of anger or dispair, or husband & wife team assassinating little kids who accidentally walked across their property? i seriously hope you know the president has little if any effect on the economy. the democrats forced the banks to loan to unqualified people saying it was discrimination. thats when the whole sup prime mortgage thing started. back on 04 the republicans were fighting to have the bad lending practices stopped but the dems fought hard to keep it. well it stayed and we all know how that turned out. so thank the democrats for the current economic situation not the president.
