Actually, the bunny and the eggs came before the Christian celebration of the holiday. They are pagan (meaning any religion that aint Christianity) fertility symbols and symbols of the Goddess, Oester (who is basically the same goddess as Isis, Demeter, Ishtar, and others. :P - Uncle Know-it-all
