Patches is a Gypsy Vanner filly by Tom Price's Gypsy stallion Superior out of our Gypsy Vanner mare Alexis. She will be a decent sized mare with nice color and feather. She is very nice to handle and is a sweet filly. She will make someone a nice horse, has a nice presence to her and is flashy in the field.
She is halter broke and stands tied. Fine indoors and out, alone or with other horses. Stands well for grooming, picks up all four feet, and will stand for a bath. She is well mannered and behaved, but since she is just turning 2 years old this year, she is not a dead quiet horse. She has not had any training with a saddle or bridle as of the current time. She enjoys human company and being groomed. She has basic ground manners/handling. She does free lunge and shouldn't be hard on a lunge line.
Patches has been donated by LexLin Gypsy Ranch to Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding (STAR) 2011 Bridles & Blue Jeans Live Auction on April 30, 2011. The proceeds from her sale will be used by STAR to help foster personal achievement by providing therapeutic experiences using horse related activities for people that have disabilities.
