Would an achromat or a macro lens help improve edge sharpness?
NorvenLeverone 1 month ago
@NorvenLeverone Yes, definitely. We now shoot using a +10 37mm macro filter that we bought on ebay for a few dollars and it really helps to brighten the image and lessen vignetting. We recommend using a +8 or +1o filter. And it wont crop the image...because of the distance it creates, it actually gives a slightly wider field of view.

does this adapter produce a lot of vignetting and if it does how can i remove it

@blastlaughs All 35mm adapters have a bit of vignetting, so you can simply use achromats or macro filters on the camera between the camera and adapter to lessen it. Also, there is a great tool in Magic Bullet looks that gradually boosts the edges. Either of those will work.

@blastlaughs Thanks, Yes as long as it has a 37mm step ring it will work fine with the EnCinema Adapter. Sounds like a nice camera!
