The Skinhead Reggae band known as The Pyramids were from Jamaica and formed in 1969, they were Trojan Records' in-house band and known outside Jamaica as Symarip so they wouldn't be confused with the Surf Rock band seen above. However Symarip did cover "Telstar" by The Tornados, which has a Surfy feel to it.
