I personally think that scions are for college kids without the balls, money, or patience to build up a car but want a quick little car. supercharges do NOT belong on these things in the first place, and if you're going to have a supercharger, then you may as well get an intercooler to go with it so that it at least runs a little cooler. there's really no point to putting a cai or sri onto a supercharged engine because it already forces enough air into the engine, but that air's only half as go

Intakes on the TRD charger dont do a whole lot for power. The only real positives are the throaty throttle note, louder SC whine and more audible bypass recirculation. Icenine used the factory airbox and just a KN Drop in filter with his 311whp SC setup so what does that tell ya.

@ stretch. Dude are u serious? So a metal short ram intake sitting right next to a blazing hot V5 compresser in a intolerably hot engine bay is going to suck in cold air through a small 4 inch hole in ur side wall (not underneath) thats about 3 inches away. The sides of the filter which pull in the bulk of the air arent even facing this hole. Wow and this kid calls me a retard.

Fekal..you are retarded! Power gains from cai to short ram are only about 3-5 hp..and cai is twice the price. Both increase airflow, and the cai is only bringing in slightly colder air because where the tCs short ram sits is right next to a big Fuckin hole above the wheel well. So it too is bringing in air from outside the engine bay. So you go die, or grow a brain and figure out what the hell you're talking about before you decide to voice your opinion again.
