My friend Ben asked if I could carve some replacement tuning pegs for his Ngombi harp. This harp is made by his friends in the Bacha tribe of the Pygmy/Bameto people who live in the jungle of the Gabon, West Africa. I made the pegs on condition that Ben played a little of their music. ENJOY...J

  • Beautiful. All way round beautiful. Both of you are artists.

  • Thank you Jon and Ben! What a fascinating instrument...I was quite intrigued with it's design. I very much enjoyed it's soft, musical notes which are quite relaxing! :)

  • surprising range of tones from such a simple instrument. pretty cool!
