WTF NOT AT ALLLLLLLLLLL
-
@LikaLaruku Yeah but the album goes with the entire movie supposedly.
-
@jsell05 supposedly, when your high, mute the move while the MGM lion roars, and play the whole album, and it fits together. but thats when ur high XD

I just heard about this myth from a buddy of mine tonight, and from what I can tell, the mood of the music seems to match what's happening in the movie.
The main things people argue is that the changes in songs seem to line up with the changes of scenes. And some parts, like where Dorothy listens to the tin man's heart for the first time, is completely in sync with the heartbeat in one of their songs.
A bunch of stuff like that, I think there's about half a dozen or so.

Pink Oz is the most matched up of any Wizard of Oz/Pink Floyd that I've seen.
-
TROLLS:. i love this...

the wizard of oz has been studied and some proffesors say that the author of the wizard of oz wrote the story as his interpertation of the gilded age. most of these charracters represent something in the gilded age. there are a lot of symbols and you can notice them when you read the book and compare it to the movie. many people say that the wizard of oz and songs from pink floyd are connected because of the meaning of the songs and they reason why they were written. it's quite interesting

@35boogyman san tropez its not on the dark dise of the moon, but rather Meddle.
-
@jsell05 Apperentl Pink Floyd made the albulm The dark side of the moon to match up with the movie the wizard of oz perfectly and you're just watching a clip of it.

im not being sarcastic, but could somebody explain to me what im supposed to be seeing/hearing while watching this? how is it supposed to go together?

Nothing special. You could make that scene match up with any song. If anything, the music is going at half the speed of the action.
