Creating an acrylic underpainting for a macaw using a yellow pigment creates a warm harmony for the final result. This is part of an online class offered at the Art Apprentice Online Art School for all skills and levels of painting. Take art classes from home.

  • Beautiful art piece and amazing paints!

I was wondering if acrylic paints damage the natural bristle hair brush? Especially this particular brand?

  • @annathewolf Acrylic paint will only damage a brush if the paint is left to dry in the brush. However with modern day brush cleaners we can even remove dried paint. I have used acrylics for many years (25) and have had no problems with my brushes.
