Chanctonbury Ring is a circle of beech trees on the South Downs Way in West Sussex, that marks the site of an ancient Iron Age fort which was later a Roman temple.
The views are magnificent in all directions.
It was a cool, windy day in May when I went there and flew on the south facing slope.
This static film, shot in full HD, shows the joy and tranquillity of the art of slope soaring.
