David di Michelangelo - Firenze - Galleria dell'Accademia

Michelangelo's David, sculpted by Michelangelo between 1501 and early 1504, is widely considered a masterpiece of sculpture world, especially the Renaissance. It is the most famous sculpture by Michelangelo in the world. Some artists and art historians go further to say that it is the most beautiful object created by humanity. The David portrays the biblical hero when preparing to meet Goliath. The statue, marble white and 5.16 meters high, was commissioned as a symbol of the Florentine republic. It is exhibited at the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence.

Actuallly if you think about it, the penis could also represent masculinity by it's size also....I would have definitely make it bigger and more appealing, not in a sexual way but proportion wise.  Otherwise have him wore something over it instead. :) jmo
