@Mexiamerican2012, That is me Superman I am stronger than I look. Seeing actor Brandon James Routh as Superman was amazing. I love the clouds and sun scene I even dreamed I was Superman flying in the clouds re-charging myself up to fight my adversary Lex Luthor. That scene was EPIC!!!! and so was Christopher Reeve's scene when he flies out of Earth and towards the sun like you see in this video to the right of my post. I fight for truth, justice, and the american way. Lois I never lie.

To many times these movie people are talked into changing the true essence of these character's apparel, and it ends up being some -- corny fashion statement! I really would have minded it, but details like the absence of the yellow symbol on the back of the cape, and changing of the belt buckle were crucial. I say; if the comic book hasn't changed it, than the movie should change it...

@erzan I know we'd die from the effects of no sunlight ever reaching the Earth, obviously :)
He said humans need sun rays on their skin to survive.
Locking someone in a pitch-black room with no light sources at all wouldn't kill them :P

@JamieHowitt Erm if you stopped any sunlight, Within a week, the average global surface temperature would drop below 0°F. In a year, it would dip to –100°. Oceans will freeze, plant life will die, animals will die, millions or even billions of humans unable to cope with the temperature will die. The global weather patterns will change and you'll get freak weather patterns like extreme storms ect. The sunlight never stops shining on the earth at night time remember that :P

The sun never sets by the way...its always there...
Superman is like a solar battery he absorbs sunlight constantly even at night. but as i said he's like a SOLAR BATTERY which means he's also constantly charged so he could go into a different galaxy and still have powers for an AMOUNT of time. and to prove this just take a look at when he uses his powers INDOORS, there's not neccesarily any sunlight coming through which means he must already be fully charged up

this might be by far the greatest scene in superman history, i mean this scene defines who he is and where his powers derive from plus this scene is inspirational...god i wish i was kryptonian
