Went to Sal for New year 2009, barren land not much to see and quite windy. Had problem with room, sewarage leaking into our bathroom, moved swiftly. Overall, it was ok but found Riu Cancun much better. Its more African than Portrugese.

When i go abroad and im shopping, i never pay more than what i could get it at home for. lots of uk shops / markets sell shark tooth shoe lace necklesses for a fiver or less.....
Just cant believe the cheek of some countries.... in the DR they were asking $190 for one hahaha.... gave him $5...

Went there last october and had an amazing time! the weather is really nice and the hotel is great :) takes ages walk from the place to place though because the hotel is that big. Cant count how many times ive got lost at night haha

lol i would say Sal by far but i neve been Boavista. Sal really is amazing.. the island has a few villages, airport and 2 hotels.. lol... sod all else.. when you go to town talk the price down on everythig.. they charge like... 50 euro for a sharktooth on a shoe lace lol.. my dad got them down to 15 euros lol...
its funny i spent 20 euros and according ot shop keepers original price, i had 200 euro's worth of necklaces that had shark backbone, tteth, beads.. dont get that stuf elsewhere...

both hotels ae amazing.. they're joined together and share 6 restaurants, 4 of that themed, 4 swimming pools with swim up bar and jacuzzis... awesome place, go there before the culture vanishes like the canary islands...
