People joke about a Palin presidency, but it could actually happen. She is deeply polarizing and has the potential of slyly pitting whites against non-whites like Ronald Reagan, Richard Nixon, and the Bushes did. She has the potential of putting in the minds of the white electorate that they have lost "their country" to this far left agenda by this black president who is not like us, is not America, doesn't see America like you and I do."

Interesting comment. Eisenhower warned about the military industrial complex. The two wars the U.S. is involved in has mired the country under a mountain of debt. The military industrial complex was vastly apparent during the Reagan era even though Reagan is said to have won the Cold War without a firing a shot. Defense spending was astronomical in the 1980's which cause so much debt.

visualize a functioning government. i was a sarah palin appointee here in ak prior to her abdication. she spent more time being petty and vindictive than being any sort of administrator.
i think ms sarah is a pawn of the military-industrial complex about which eisenhower (republican) warned us.
