My 71 Maverick: The Beginning

I've bought my first car! It's a 1971 ford maverick. Although it is a bit of a project, it is just what I have been looking for. So these videos are going to document my progress to you the viewers and for me to look back on when its all finished.

Tryed to make a video but couldn't upload threw my phone sorry about that, but my main prob is I've got a mean hit on my front left fender and wat I was told to do is heat it and then hit it out with a mallet. Will that work?

@rooster563 Yeah, that would probably work. It wouldn't go back to exactly the way it was, you'll have to use bondo and stuff to smooth it out, but it should get you closer to a straight fender.

nice maverick. I have a 1970 myself and I'm tryin to fix it up but I get stuk frm time to time and ppl where I live r into tunners so no help there. I was wondering if u could help me out?

ha my first cars a 76 maverick, itll be mine at the end of this month, cuz of income taxs. it looks nice but it needs a crp load of work under the hood and interior. got a good runing 302 and tranny

@PYROSF Congratulations man! I also have a Maverick in Brazil, for us, it is very difficult to get spare parts, but all my friends like American cars ... Here in Brazil, the Maverick is highly coveted .... I wish good luck in your recovery ...
