If I absolutely had to choose one I'd go with the pit bull. I'm a huge fan of both and currently own one of each and have owned them in the past as well. They are both loyal and have an incredible amount of love for their owners.

@chadalopolous you did not read the history of this breed. back in the days,3 pits were enough in taking down huge animals like lions,bulls etc..those pits which attacked human are not bred well.they were the result of backyard breeders,and it's not good if u fight it against other dogs coz they dont have fighting skills. gamebred wouldn't attack human in fact they are very friendly with human but aggresive to other dogs.

@solidpitbull9211 Lions and Bears ??? Lol. You show me a video of a pitbull killing a lion fuckstick. There are more then enough video's on youtube of Pitbulls attacking people and all that happens is a few stiches. There is one where the pitbull couldn't even take down a 120 pound woman. The only thing dangerous about a pitbull is it's lockjaw. If you want to look at what a pack of GSD's could do, just go watch a pack of Wolves. Pitbulls wouldn't last one month in the wild.

My pit is capable of killing you also if it's necessary. pits may be friendly towards human but he can be a killer machine if he's trying to protect its owner. thats how i love this breed. he knows how and when to defend his master.

@solidpitbull9211 Yes Pitbulls where breed to fight other dogs, but thats all they do. I personally can and could kick the shit out of a pitbull, but I can't say that about a GSD. GSD's would fuck me up. So in conclution yes your dog can kill mine but my dog can kill you.

@BloodyDirtBikeCrash1 u are just another lunatic who wants to be corrected LOL ok i will educate u . ofcourse gsd is good for police assignments but never against other dogs especially pitbulls.gsd were breed for this purpose,where as apbt is not good in this league. they were created for the purpose of bull-baiting,bear-baiting and later against other dogs.imagine a 50 lbs pit would take down bull which 1000 lbs,how much more to a gsd.it would be a complete massacre for the GSD LOL
