I L-O-V-E the still shots of Dave as he endures the havoc of breaking the threshold of going "faster than light" at the following timestamps:
1:01 - 1:02
1:24 - 1:25
1:46 - 1:47
1:53 - 1:54
Almost like you can imagine Dave just going "AAAaaaaaaaaaaarrrrgh" but nothing comes out of his mouth. Just all-out unimaginable G-forces to the umpteenth power.
Kubrick really was way ahead of his time with this movie ('specially this sequence).
