sounds like a way to charge me more for refills and make it so i can't choose how much soap i use. stupid people will buy it though... facepalm

This is useless since germs that go from the pump to your hand are washed away when you wash your hands. It's only useful for those who don't have the strength to push a pump (i,e. stroke, arthritic, dystonic or Parkinson patients) or kids, who can make a mess. The fun factor might also make kids to wash their hands more.
Lysol makes money on the expensive refills. Don't bother. Just make a hole on top of the bottle and pour in cheap gallon jug refills, then seal with tape or a cork.

They do realize that they wash their hands after they touch the soap bottle right?
I feel bad for the poor suckers who bought that thing.

Lysol preys on germphobes. They know damn well normal people are stupid enough to fall for that. Other people buy them cause the are too lazy to pump the soap into their hands.
-
What the fuck is this? Do they think were stupid? Your just gonna wash your hands anyway
-
And if it starts dripping, you lose all your soap in an endless loop of self-triggering. My parents own one, that's how I know, I do not.
-
This product was made by Lysol as a way to get money from stupid idiots to stupid to realize that this product is way beond worthless.
-
This is just their excuse for being lazy.

Germs on a soup pump doesn't matter.... its the sinks thats matters. When you turn the sink on, germs from your dirty hands get transfered onto handly of the sink. Thus, when you finish cleaning your hands, you turn the sink off. Therefore, the germs get back on your hands. If you look carefully, in this commercial it doesn't show them turning on the sink. They try and sell something that they know doesn't work, and they hide it. How sad.
Why is an automatic soap pump necessary? The point of putting soap on is to clean yourself, thus no matter what kind of germs there are on the soap pump, it doesn't natter because IT'S A SOAP PUMP and SOAP cleans your hands.

If you're going to wash your hands, wouldn't you be assuming they're dirty in the first place? Even if they weren't, washing your hands after using a 'germy pump' makes no difference in comparison to washing your hands after using a clean pump. Either way, your hands are going to be clean afterward. It makes the whole idea of an automatic soap pump look like a joke. Unfortunately some people don't realize that, so they go out and buy one anyway.
