if he ever did invade us,he would have to fight agaist the 1 million strogn home guard.and if they died,the women ad children of Britian would have picked up the guns and fight.The truth is we would have never been slaves,we would have rather died then be slaves.and we would have continued the battle from canada.we stood alone agaist the nazi war mazine as of my 1940.we have British fighting spirit and we will never surrender,NEVER

@ccclllsport Slaves? Hitler admired Britain and wanted her as an ally. What he despised and wanted as slaves were the Bolshevik hordes and communism in the east.

@ccclllsport may i say though, did the German home guard last long against the red army and us/brits? not really, and they had better guns then the Brit homeguard in 1940. but i understand. if NZ was invaded by the Japs, i would have taken my gun and gone into the bush and fought gurrellia style with others

@retrorat1776 My point is, when surrendering makes life not worth living, when to keep on fighting is a better life then living under nazi rule as a slave. What choce did britain have, keep fighting to vicotry or to you all die, or surrender and be extermaiated if you are lucky, or be used as a slave for the germans. There would have been no surrender from britain. a thousands year of warfare would have been better then a single day bowing down to the nazis

@retrorat1776 There's a massive difference between french people and british. you can tell now just looking at the EU, Britain is the most anti-eu country in europe, if the goverment was to have a referemdem tomorrow, the british people would leave the EU. simply because it taking our independence. my dad told me of how he asked his dad who was a british soilder during world war two 'do you think england would have ever surrendered?'...'lad it would have been better to die then live under them'
