Hawk Still Soars - Jonathan C. Ward - Native American Flute - Hawk Littlejohn

19 years ago yesterday this flute was crafted by a master flute maker "Hawk Littlejohn". I was gifted this flute aprx 6 years ago by a well respected close friend and family member. I was asked to learn Amazing Grace on it, in which I have done but yet have to record it until now. This is the first time I have recorded with this flute. I start with a heartfelt composition and then go in to Amazing Grace. Hope you enjoy! Its an honor to own a flute by such a great legend in flute making... :)

Hawk Littlejohn (June 12, 1941 -- December 14, 2000) was perhaps the greatest contemporary Native American flute maker. At the time of his death, he was living in Old Fort, North Carolina, where he made his flutes and kept alive his native Cherokee traditions. (Wikipedia)
