@dirtracker33b.... It was in Flemington NJ home of the original Flemington Fairgrounds on Rt. 31 going towards Clinton when it got torn down and turned into "premium shopping" it was the most solemn day remembered by those who attended those races... in fact one of my best memories during my childhood was being able to hear the whine of the engines going around the corners past 10:00 pm at night.... good times :)

Its a shame what has happened to all the tracks in Jersey. Flemington Speedway closed then East Windsor Speedway and we almost lost Wall Speedway. WTF! I hate to see these tracks go. It seems like a conspiracy against race tracks! They get no financial help at all and no new tracks are ever built anymore. But if its a football or baseball stadium then they get built immediately with all the support they need! Such BS!

flemington speedway last dirt show was in 1990 then in 91 it was paved then they open up durin the 91 season for the first time paved flemington was located on RT 31 where lowes is now n long horn

im pround to call flemington speedway my home town track there was always good racing there when it was dirt flemington NJ will never be the same again after they closed it down n made it into a shopping center

I grew up close to Flemington N.J. and been going to races there since i was 5 now some dumb ass crap flapper thought it would be better as a shopping center talk about a slap in the face
