I practice one of the oldest and most widespread forms of textile decoration. Ikat. It is a process in which you bind and dye the warp or weft fibers to create an image.
The bindings are removed, the fibers are washed out and dried before the weaving process begins. I recorded every second of the process (about three months) and put it into this four minute video. ENJOY:)

I get mine from a local shop in town but you can get them from Pro Chemical and Dye on their website:)
