I honestly don't have a preference of Joel or Mike. I think they're both really funny. I do prefer Dr. Forrester and Frank to Pearl and her group though.

"Ok, that's why I made it, smash away." The symbolism of this sketch is so striking. For non MST3K historians out there, Joel left the show because of creative differences between himself and producer Jim Mallon. Joel knew that he had many people on the cast and crew supported him, but decided that he didn't want to create a wedge within the show by fighting it out. Whatever you think of Joel or Mike as hosts, let there never be any doubt that Joel was a damn fine person always devoted to MST3k.
